Ironclad Trailer

A new trailer of Ironclad has surfaced online, watch it below:

IRONCLAD

The movie Ironclad recounts one of the most violent, pivotal moments in English medieval history – when a few good men fought against insurmountable odds to defend their country from a megalomaniac, blood-drunk king. Torn from the pages of history, the devastating battle for the castle of Rochester is a true story of honor, action and excitement. There will be blood!

Ironclad Film Trailer

We've got our hands on first official promo trailer of Ironclad, it's an early trailer mostly made with raw footage, so watch it for what it is:

IRONCLAD

Some battles change war.

This battle change History!

I already like Jonathan English's take on Ironclad: he manages to combine action, a sense of adventure and History into what looks like a solid movie. I guess Ironclad will look even better when post-production will have been completed.

Ironclad Movie

Ironclad is an upcoming action movie directed by Jonathan English. The film chronicles the siege of Rochester Castle by King John in the year 1215. It is starring Paul Giamatti, James Purefoy, Brian Cox, Mackenzie Crook, Jason Flemyng, and Kate Mara. I

Here's a first look at James Purefoy as the Templar knight Marshall in the movie Ironclad:

James Purefoy - IroncladPlot:
"A ragtag group of Knights Templar hold out for months against the hard-fought siege of Rochester Castle in the thirteenth Century. Set in the time of King John's signing of the Magna Carta treaty, the group struggles against the King to defend the freedom of their country."

Judging from james Purefoy's bloody sword, the movie Ironclad is going to be a bloody feast! Well at least it is will be somewhat historically accurate because the Siege of Rochester Castle was a damn bloody mess, a really hard-fought battle!

Ironclad should be released sometime in 2010.
